Sharif University of Technology in Tehran has opened its 15th Job Fair at Ostad Jabbari Hall, with the participation of employers, organizations, industries, and jobseekers, and the introduction of around 700 job opportunities.
The event was inaugurated on Sunday, 18 Aban 1404, in the presence of Malek Hosseini, Deputy Minister for Entrepreneurship Development and Employment at the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare.
The Sharif Job Fair serves as a direct bridge between jobseekers and employers. Participating organizations present their available positions, while students and graduates can visit the booths, learn about companies, submit their resumes, and hold face-to-face discussions with HR representatives and technical managers.
Over the course of the previous 14 editions, more than 300 public and private organizations have participated in the fair, resulting in the recruitment of nearly 4,000 specialists from among Sharif students and graduates.
Mohammad Vesal, Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Sharif University, emphasized that the fair enables companies to access a wide range of high-level skills available at the university and supports the attraction of qualified human resources. He noted that such events also make students more aware of the importance of complementary skills, explaining that academic performance alone is not enough, and that abilities such as effective communication and professional soft skills are essential for success in the job market.
He further highlighted the presence of dedicated booths for startups in this edition, providing a platform to present innovative ideas and attract new collaborators for expanding their activities.
According to the university, the 15th Sharif Job Fair will be open to visitors and jobseekers from 18 to 20 Aban, daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
