General description of the university
University of Kashan is the largest and first university of Kashan city, which is located in Ravand city. This university was established in 1973, and now it has about 7,993 students. According to ranking of the Islamic World Science Reference Database, Kashan University ranks 7th among Iran’s comprehensive universities among the 70 public universities of the Ministry of Science in the top 20 universities of Iran. In the meantime, the Nano Science and Technology Research Institute of this university is the first Nano Research Institute in the country, and the Astronomy Research Center has one of the most equipped observatories in the country. More than 60 technology units are located in the growth center of Kashan University. According to the university vision document, in 2025, Kashan University is among the top five universities in the country and with international reputation.

Persian language course
Teaching Persian language to non-Persian speakers in the linguistic and cultural policy of the country, in order to spread the Persian language outside the geographical borders of the country, has particular importance. Persian language teaching centers for non-Persian speakers are international centers that play an important role in the process of internationalization of universities in the direction of teaching and expanding the Persian language and promoting Iranian culture and civilization, and provide the basis for attracting Persian students and their education.
University services
This university has a swimming complex, a wrestling hall, a taekwondo hall, a table tennis hall, an Arash shooting hall, a Mehr gymnasium, a cycling track in the central girls’ hall, an artificial grass field, a central open sports club for girls, and a multi-purpose hall. It has training classes in various sports fields, numerous recreational programs, dining hall for women and men, singles dormitory, library and many study halls.
