Media management is one of the subsets of the management field, where business management has the most competition and proximity. The purpose of this course is to train managers who are able to establish and manage successful organizations in the media industry. Media management is the economic management of a media organization and deals with concepts such as business model, competitive strategies, management of creative forces, management of advertising, marketing management, management of production and distribution and supply, management of resources and value chain, etc. This industry traditionally includes television, radio, newspapers, magazines, books and cinema sectors. With the introduction of new technologies and the spread of mobile media, the scope of media management has been expanded to include social media, platforms and ecosystems.
