General description of the university
Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, in annual rankings, usually after Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti and Mashhad, has the highest place among more than 50 universities of medical sciences across the country. This university is considered the country’s scientific hub in many fields, as well as medical, dental and pharmaceutical specialties. This university has 12 faculties that cover all disciplines and trends related to medical and paramedical sciences.

Bachelor’s 8 semesters, Master’s 4 semesters, PhD 8 semesters. professional doctorate 14 semester. Dentistry 12 semesters. Pharmacology 10-12 semesters, specialization 10-6 semesters, subspecialty 4-6 semesters.
University services
Students can use all the libraries of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences located in all faculties, as well as the central library of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences located on the campus of Tabriz University. Students can go to the physical education department at the address: Tabriz University campus, next to the cultural building of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, in front of Qods dormitory, to do sport related works and like Iranian students, they can benefit from sports facilities such as: wrestling hall, table tennis, futsal artificial grass field, volleyball hall, basketball hall and university swimming pool. Students can open an account after registering and obtaining a residence permit and letter of introduction by the university.
Students can get a SIM card from all borders when entering the country, and they can buy a SIM card inside the city by visiting the relevant centers. Students can get up to three SIM cards from the operators in the country (Hamrah e Aval, Irancell, Rightel, etc.) by presenting their passport and address.
