General description of the university

Mashhad University of Medical Sciences is one of the state universities of Iran and one of the best universities of medical sciences in Iran under the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education in Mashhad. This university with 7 assistant offices and 18 health and treatment networks, 7 faculties, 28 hospitals and 16 research centers (4 centers approved by the ministry and 12 centers approved by the university) and in general in terms of a wide range of providing health care services to about 5 million people is one of the largest universities in the country.

Degrees

Bachelor’s 8 semesters, Master’s 4 semesters, PhD 8 semesters. Professional doctorate 14 semester. Dentistry 12 semesters. Pharmacology 10-12 semesters, specialization 10-6 semesters, subspecialty 4-6 semesters.

Academic calendar

This university has two admissions per year, in October (Mehr) is the first semester and in February (Bahman) is the second semester.
